Accessibility statement
Last updated: July 2026
1. Commitment to accessibility
At Personal IT Guy we place the highest importance on providing an equal, respectful and accessible service to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We work to let every person browse the site comfortably, independently and with dignity — believing accessibility is a basic right, not a perk.
2. Legal framework
The site is made accessible in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and the Israeli standard IS 5568, based on the international WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
3. What was made accessible
The site was designed and built with accessibility in mind, including:
• Full keyboard navigation, without relying on a mouse.
• Compatibility with screen readers, using ARIA tags and a semantic heading structure.
• Adequate color-contrast ratios between text and background.
• Alternative text (alt) for meaningful images and illustrations.
• Responsive design adapted to a range of screens, tablets and mobile devices.
• Respect for the user's reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion).
• Clear, legible fonts.
4. The site's accessibility menu
An accessibility button (♿) in the corner of the screen opens a personal-adjustments menu that offers: increasing and decreasing text size, high contrast, negative contrast, grayscale, link highlighting, a readable font, an enlarged cursor, and stopping animations. Your choices are saved in the browser and persist as you browse.
5. Ongoing improvement
We view accessibility as a continuous process and work to improve the site regularly. Some parts may not yet be fully accessible — we are aware of this and are fixing them gradually. If you encounter any difficulty, fault or non-accessible element, please bring it to our attention and we will fix it as soon as possible.
6. Contact — accessibility coordinator
For any question, request, suggestion or report of an accessibility issue, contact our accessibility coordinator Ronen by email: ronenpg@gmail.com. We will be glad to help.
